TUNE IN TO "THE COAST," WFCT FM/105.5, FOR

THE BEACH RESTORATION CALL-IN SHOW TOMORROW, JUNE 15TH!

TDC Director Paula Pickett and SJPBAC Co-chairs Susan Wright and Laurel Eiler appeared on the "Chuck and Jon in the Morning" Show on WFCT-FM 105.5 The Coast today to talk about the beach restoration project and remind listeners to attend the town hall this Saturday, June 17th.  The show prompted an unexpected but welcome flurry of phone calls to the show by listeners wishing to express their opinions on the project.  The response was so overwhelming, Chuck and Jon told callers today to call back to the station between 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. tomorrow.  If you are in the listening area, tune in to hear the continued discussion.  If you wish to call in to the show, the number is 850-227-9048.

WJHG-TV COVERAGE OF THE BEACH RESTORATION PROJECT YESTERDAY

CLICK HERE to go to WJHG-TV's website.  On the right-hand side of the home page, look for the story titled as follows (THIS IS NOT A FUNCTIONAL LINK)Tropical Storm Alberto - Cape San Blas - Gulf County for the video of a story which aired on the 6:00 news on WJHG Channel 7 last night.  An abbreviated version of the story aired at 10:00 and then again this morning.  Thanks to reporter Sabrina Zimring for giving our project and the town hall this coverage!  One correction from the video is that the classifications are misstated to be "gulf, cape and inland," which should be gulf front, gulf interior and bayside.

DON'T FORGET ABOUT "LET'S TALK" ON SJNN CHANNEL 3 ALL THIS WEEK!
